Data Mining Intern

Foodista is looking for an enthusiastic, kick ass data-mining intern to help us wade through our corpus of hundreds of thousands of recipes. This is a paid internship, 20 hours a week, $12 an hour. You will be required to be in our Belltown office at least two days a week, but the exact schedule is flexible. You will be working on a small team, reporting directly to the CTO, involved in many aspects of the company, but mostly data wrangling.

Requirements:

* strong skills with GNU text utils (cat, cut, sort, grep, ... )
* strong skills with at least one scripting language, Python preferred
* strong familiarity with HTTP and HTML
* quick learner, quick doer
