Not sure whether to laugh or cry at this story. Last month, a small boy named Donovan Bortner lost his favorite teddy bear (named Mr. Bear) on the playground of a local school. He was wrapped in a blue blanket and was an important member of the family. Once they noticed the bear was missing, the little boy's parents went back to the playground but the bear was gone.
The loss has been devastating for the little boy. His parents posted lost signs in hopes that someone would come forward with the blanket. In their sign, Donovan's mother offered a "baked goods reward" for helping to find the bear.
Enter Brooklyn pranksters. Earlier this week someone posted a response to that lost sign. The "kidnappers" claimed to have the blanket but would only return it in exchange for $10,000 worth of gluten and peanut-free cupcakes. Sadly, it appears to be a prank and the little boy still doesn't have his lost bear back.

Always some jerk(s) trying to make someone's life more painful, even making small children the butt of their childness
