There were certainly more than five delicious dishes to sample at yesterday's Seattle Wine and Food Experience, so what follows is just the tip of the iceberg. From crackers to buns, rhubarb to apricots, lamb to duck and back to lamb again, click through the pages below to relive a memorable afternoon.
-----
Pleasant View Farm Foie Gras, Toasted Brioche, Candied Rhubarb

Normally I’m not a huge fan of foie gras, but Copperleaf Restaurant and Bar's version in mousse form, with sweet and tart candied rhubarb, had me returning for seconds.
-----
Roasted Lamb with Celeriac Puree, Brussels Sprouts, and Aged Balsamic

I’m a sucker for anything and everything Brussels sprouts. So when Serafina Osteria added perfectly cooked lamb and a silky puree of celeriac to them, I was powerless to resist.
-----
Boat Street Pickled Apricots

All hail pickled fruit! With a undercurrent of curry spice, the Boat Street Pickled Apricots were heavenly when combined with Mt. Townsend Creamery Cirrus, a Camembert-styled cheese.
-----
Lamb Bresaola on Whole Wheat Crackers with Leek Butter and Oregon Truffles

I highly recommend having some Oregon Pinot Noir in your glass to accompany this. And though you may be dazzled by all these fancy ingredients, The Country Cat Dinnerhouse and Bar makes a mean cracker, too.
-----
Fragrant Duck With Steamed Buns

Though the program called them “sliders,” I refuse to acknowledge them as such. Wild Ginger created buns like pillowy clouds and then stuffed them with crazy tender duck.
