Michael Symon Opens First Airport Restaurant in Pittsburgh

Michael Symon has opened his very first airport restaurant at the Airmall in Pittsburgh International Airport. Bar Symon is 2,500 square feet and is located in the very center of the airport. 

"At Airmall, we have always been a pioneer in airport concessions and were the very first developer to bring brands to the airport terminal," said Airmall Pittsburgh Vice President of Development Jay Kruisselbrink. "With the opening of Bar Symon, we have reset the bar once again." 

The new Bar Symon was designed with a fun and relaxing atmosphere for travelers, with a historical-looking interior that reflects French cafes. 

"I am so pleased to bring my passion for serving great food in a fun environment to airport travelers in Pittsburgh," Symon said. "Dining is all about the experience, and we've captured that with Bar Symon. I have no doubt it will quickly become a passenger favorite."
