Long John Silver's Serves The Worst Fast Food Meal

July 10, 2013

Long John Silver's "Big Catch" fish platter was named the worst restaurant meal by the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a nutrition advocacy group.  This deep fried fast food platter consists of a batter and fried piece of haddock, onion rings and hush puppies which add up to a whopping 1,320 calories.  The calorie count isn't even the worst of it.  The meal contains 33 grams of trans fat, 16 times more than the recommended amount.  So the next time you consider pulling over for fish and chips, you might want to rethink that decision.
