What's for Breakfast: Banana Raspberry Belgian Waffles

Change up your breakfast routine and make these delicious banana raspberry Belgian waffles from Home Skillet cooking blog.  These light and fluffy waffles have a higher grid pattern to allow toppings to seep into each crevasse so that you get a little bit of everything in each bite.  These Belgian waffles are topped with tart raspberries, sliced bananas, maple syrup and freshly whipped cream.  Who wouldn't be excited to wake up to that?

Banana Raspberry Belgian Waffles


2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups buttermilk
2 eggs
¼ cup butter, melted and cooled
½ teaspoon almond extract
½ - 1 cup banana puree
6 ounces raspberries, halved
