Kava Root Tea

About

Native to the South Pacific, It is used to to cause someone to talk more and for calming effects. This tea is best steeped at 180 degrees F for a few minutes to reduce the strongness of the kava. In Fiji it is called grog because it has groggy effects on humans. It is traditionally drank from the half shell of a coconut (called bilo). It tastes like dirty water, but it is still popular for the effects.
