About This Food

St Cloud are medium-blue, medium to large-sized blueberries with a somewhat sweet flavour. They have a small scar after picking. The cold hardy bush grows 3 to 4 feet (1 to 1.2 metres) tall, and produces 3 to 7 pounds (1.3 to 3 kg) of berries per bush in an early harvest. St Cloud Blueberries need another variety to cross-pollinate it. St Cloud Blueberries were released by the University of Minnesota in 1990. They were developed from a cross between Ashworth blueberries and a berry referred to as "G65".
