About This Food
An aromatic variety of brown rice developed in the late 20th century by the Lundberg Family Farms, which owns the registered trademark. It was developed from Indian Basmati seeds, is reddish-brown in color and resembles wild rice. It has a chewy texture and an aroma said to be similar to hot buttered peanuts.
