King Mandarin

About

It is believed that the King group of mandarins originated in Indo-China, where it spread northward as far as Japan and southward throughout Malaya. Many of the mandarins currently found in the Malayan region and a few in China appear to be of this type. Its rind is quite thick for mandarins, moderately difficult to peel, with a moderately smooth to rough and warty surface. It is deep yellowish-orange to orange at maturity.
