About

A flower that is boiled to make a sweet drink in some parts of Asia. The petals are also used in cooking for color, garnish, in salads and sometimes for creamed soup. The taste is slightly spicy. The Chinese believe eating chrysanthemums will make the body light and vigorous, and increase longevity.
