Kris Alcantara

Kris is a twenty-something food writer living 10 miles from Manhattan. Despite being a bridge-and-tunnel girl with no sense of direction, she finds her way around New York City by its gourmet chocolate shops. Her devotion to dessert gave birth to Married to Chocolate in 2009, while she was completing her MA in Magazine and Online Journalism at Syracuse University. Now a penniless journalist with no lucrative job, she spends her Sundays making No-Bake treats and giving them away. She also dabbles in photography from time to time and thinks chocolates make sexy subjects. Rowrrrr.
