- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Icing Sugar
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 teaspoon Hot Milk
- Icing Sugar(optional)
- 1 cup Mashed Strawberries
Instructions
Step 1
Bring water and 2 tablespoons butter to a brisk boil until butter melts, then sift in flour and stir gently until the mixture leaves the sides of the saucepan.
Step 2
Cool the mixture for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add eggs one at a time and beat until smooth.
Step 4
Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto a greased cake tin and bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven.
Step 5
Once the puffs are cold, prepare the strawberry filling: Cream 1 cup of icing sugar and 1 cup of butter together, then add hot milk and mashed strawberries. Add additional icing sugar as needed to create a soft and creamy filling.
Step 6
Split each puff on one side and insert the strawberry filling.
Step 7
Place a small teaspoonful of filling on top of each puff and decorate with a halved strawberry.
