Cranberry, Glazed Walnut, Orange, Avocado and Blue Cheese Salad
I first made this salad for my family's Thanksgiving dinner several years ago as a starter and it was a big hit. This recipe was inspired after I had some pear & walnut salad at a restaurant. Since I'm a busy professional woman and don't have lots of time to cook, I wanted to make something quick and easy, yet tasty, using pre-made ingredients you can find at regular grocery stores.

- 0.75 cup dried sweetened cranberries
- 0.75 cup glazed walnuts
- 1 can mandarin orange slices, drained
- 0.75 cup blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 1 bag spinach & mixed green salad
- Cranberry or raspberry walnut vinaigrette dressing(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Open the bag of spinach and mixed green salad and lay it in the salad bowl.
Step 2
Add cranberries, walnuts, oranges, blue cheese, and avocado to the salad.
Step 3
Drizzle salad dressing over the ingredients.
Step 4
Toss until all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Step 5
Adjust the amount of ingredients based on your taste preference.
