- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk
- 1 egg egg
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

In a medium saucepan, whisk together the cornstarch, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
