- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 3 stalks green onions, chopped (white & green parts)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 cups half & half
- 3 1/2 cups fish stock
- 3 tablespoons parsley
- 12 ounces cooked small shrimp
- 1 can 15 ounce diced potatoes
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- salt and pepper(optional)

In a medium saucepan, add the chopped celery, chopped green onions, and butter. Stir occasionally until tender.

Add the minced garlic and sauté.

Stir in the flour and cook to remove the raw flour taste.

Add the diced potatoes and half & half. Let the mixture simmer over medium heat.

Stir in the fish stock, parsley, cayenne pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and salt and pepper to taste. Let the bisque cook until it thickens and becomes bubbly.

Add the cooked small shrimp and simmer.
