Xocolate Chip Brn Muffins with Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate


1/2 cup shortening
1 1/4 cups sugar
2 whole eggs
2 cups buttermilk
1 cup boiling water
1 cup bran cereal
2 1/2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups baking soda
2 cups bran (bran buds)
1 tbsp dark chocolate ("Xocai Sipping Xocolate")


Mix shortening and sugar. Add eggs and buttermilk and mix well. Mix bran cereal with boiling water, then add immediately to batter. Add flour, baking soda, and bran buds. Add in " Xocai Sipping Xocolate" just before baking. Bake 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees. Serves 24
