- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup

Combine flour, sugar, soda and <a href="/DPSVTKVY">salt </a>in a small <a href="/7S3QCKWK">mixing </a>bowl. <a href="/XZBDDD5G">Cut </a>in shortening and peanut butter until particles are fine, using a low speed on mixer. <a href="/S6W4FR7F">Blend </a>in corn syrup. Shape into a 2-inch <a href="/LTNN8R88">roll. </a><a href="/X75YQJ6B">Wrap </a>in waxed paper; <a href="/FK6MC4B6">chill. </a><a href="/3JDX2Q84">Slice </a>1/8 to 1/4-inch thick, using thin, sharp knife. Place half the <a href="/3JDX2Q84">slices </a>on ungreased <a href="/KMP3DRN3">cookie </a>sheet.
