- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Baking powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 cup Butter or margarine
- 1 cup Wheat germ
- 2 cup White flour
- 2/3 cup Honey
- 1 cup Milk
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
In a saucepan, blend milk (or milk substitute) and honey over medium heat, watching carefully. Add butter (for dairy recipe) or margarine (for pareve recipe).
Step 3
Allow the mixture to cool slightly.
Step 4
Beat eggs and add them to the cooled mixture.
Step 5
In a separate bowl, mix the remaining dry ingredients (white flour, wheat germ, baking powder, and salt). Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
Step 6
Pour the batter into a greased bundt pan.
Step 7
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until slightly spongy. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean.
