  • 1 cup Skimmed milk
  • 1 Egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 1/3 cup Sesame seeds, toasted
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

  • 3 2/3 cups Flour, use part whole wheat

Instructions

1

Step 1

30 minutes

Combine dry ingredients (flour, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt) in a large bowl, then add poppy seeds. In a separate bowl, combine oil, egg, and skimmed milk. Stir the wet mixture into the flour mixture, mixing well. Cover the dough and let rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Sprinkle 3-4 baking sheets with sesame seeds. Divide the dough and roll each portion very thin, similar to a pie crust. Place rolled dough onto the prepared pans, rolling again and patting with floured hands to thin it further.

Step 3

20-25 minutes

Score the dough with a knife to define pieces after baking. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until slightly browned.
