- 1 pound Italian Sausage (pork, turkey, or chicken), decased
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Milk
- 1 can flaky biscuits

Step 1
De-case the sausage. Cut diagonally down the middle and peel away the outer casing.
Step 2
Fry the sausage in a frying pan over medium heat, breaking it up into crumbles, until it is nicely browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
Step 3
Add flour to the cooked sausage and mix thoroughly. Stir constantly and cook for a while to remove the raw flour taste.
Step 4
Slowly add milk, stirring constantly, until the desired gravy consistency is reached. Use less milk for a thicker gravy, and more milk for a thinner gravy. Adjust consistency by adding more milk if too thick, or more flour if too thin.
Step 5
Reduce the heat for the sausage and gravy to low. Meanwhile, prepare and bake the biscuits according to package directions.
Step 6
Remove biscuits from the oven. Assemble the sausage and gravy with the biscuits in a bowl and serve.
