Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 cube beef bouillon
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 2 cups peeled, cubed potatoes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 cups ground meat

Instructions

Step 1

until warmed through

Combine ground meat and 1/4 cup of water over medium heat.

Add chopped vegetables, bouillon, 1 1/4 cup water, and salt to the meat mixture.

20 minutes, or until vegetables are cooked

Cover and cook the mixture.

In a separate container, combine 1/2 cup milk and flour.

Pour the milk and flour mixture over the meat and vegetable mixture and combine well.

until thickened and bubbling

Add the remaining milk, then cook and stir the mixture.

Remove the pot from heat and add the shredded cheese.

until cheese is melted

Stir the chowder.

Serve immediately.
