- 2 cup Bengal gram flour (Besan)
- 1 Tomato puree (blanched, grind in the mixer and strain it.)
- Salt(optional)
- Red Chilly Powder(optional)
- Pepper Powder(optional)
- 1 pinch Soda Bi carb
- Oil(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Mix all ingredients (Bengal gram flour, tomato puree, salt, red chilly powder, pepper powder, and soda bi carb) together to make a smooth dough.
Step 2
Grease your hands and the inner side of the sev making machine.
Step 3
Put a long piece of the prepared dough into the greased machine.
Step 4
Heat oil in a frying pan to the appropriate temperature for deep frying.
Step 5
Press the dough through the sev making machine, moving your hands in a circular motion, to make rings of sev directly into the hot oil.
Step 6
Fry the sev rings in oil for about 1 to 2 minutes.
Step 7
Keep flipping the sev rings until they turn yellowish brown.
Step 8
Once the sev is ready, remove from oil, drain excess oil, and store in an airtight container.
