- 3.0 tablespoons Sugar
- 6.0 ounces Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1.0 teaspoon Baking powder
- 3.0 cups Gold medal all-purpose flour
- 2.0 Eggs
- 1.0 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- cup Sugar
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter softened
Instructions
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, beat 1 1/3 cups sugar, the softened butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and chocolate chips.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. On a lightly floured surface, shape each part into a roll, 1 inch in diameter and about 15 inches long. Place the rolls on ungreased cookie sheets; flatten slightly with a fork to about 5/8-inch thickness.
Step 3
Mix 3 tablespoons sugar and the cinnamon; sprinkle over the rolls. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until light brown on the edges. Slice diagonally into about 1-inch strips while warm.
