  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoons Sriracha
  • 1 teaspoons ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoons orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons fresh orange juice
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoons mirin/rice wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 6 chicken wings
  • 1 shallot, minced
  • 1 teaspoons red miso paste(optional)
  • 1-2 tablespoons sesame seeds(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Place chicken wings in either a large Ziplock bag or bowl to add marinade.

In medium bowl, mix soy sauce, agave nectar, mirin, sesame oil, orange juice, orange zest, ginger, Sriracha, garlic, shallot and miso. Whisk until smooth and combined.

Pour marinade over chicken and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Remove chicken from marinade and place in greased or lined 13x9 baking dish.

Bake 10 minutes and check. Baste with more marinade if necessary.

Bake additional 35-40 minutes, checking frequently. Test one to ensure they are cooked through.

Remove from baking dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds (optional). Serve.
