Chicken Wine Soup
1 whole organic chicken along with liver, weight around 1.5 kg – 2 kg
1 bottle – 2 bottle of Chinese cooking wine
1 ounce ginger
1 table spoon salt
Cut whole chicken into pieces, wash using water until it clean completely .
Rough chop all gingers
Heat up some vegetable oil in frying pan, then put chopped ginger, saute until the color change into golden brown, then put chicken pieces, but not the liver yet, and mix it all together for about 10 minutes.
Pour in 1 glass of water, then cover the pan, leave it for about another 10 minutes.
Put chicken liver, and salt inside, then pour ½ bottle of Chinese cooking wine, mix it all together, and cover the pan, wait for another 10 – 15 minutes.
Use clean pot, and move all chicken and wine soup to the pot.
Prepare steamer, when steaming use small fire, so the chicken can slowly absorbed the wine.
Add another ½ bottle – 1 bottle Chinese cooking wine to the pot, and then it ready to steam, cover the steamer pan, and steam it for about an hour or more, until the chicken is tender.
This recipe is about to make ancient Chinese soup, with Chicken and Wine as main ingredients. Powerful for a woman who just have a baby for her body recovery.
