- 1 cup mix dals (chana dal, tur dal, moong dal, urad dal)

- 1 small onion, cut
- 2 green chillies
- small piece of ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda (soda-bi-carb)
- 2 tablespoons white sesame seeds, roasted
- salt(optional)
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 0.5 teaspoon mustard seeds
- curry leaves
- 0.25 teaspoon red chili powder (for tempering)
- curd
- green chutney with garlic

Step 1
