  • Boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 5 slices Bread, ground to crumbs
  • 4 Babycorn
  • 1 tablespoon finely cut Onion
  • 1 tablespoon Capsicum
  • 1 tablespoon boiled and slightly crushed Corn
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger and Garlic paste(optional)
  • Salt
  • Red Chilly powder
  • Pepper powder
  • Chaat masala
  • ground Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Oil
  • Corn flour
  • 1 tablespoon grated cheese(optional)
  • Carrot(optional)
  • Tomato sauce

Instructions

Step 1

Mash the boiled potatoes and boiled corn. Add the finely cut onion and capsicum. Optionally, you can also add 1 tablespoon grated cheese and carrot to the mixture.

In this mixture, add the bread crumbs, salt, red chilly powder, pepper powder, chaat masala, and ground sugar. Mix well.

Step 3

Take some of the mixture, shape it into a round or oval cutlet, and pierce a babycorn (or a wooden ice cream spoon) in the center to resemble a lollipop.

Step 4

Coat the cutlets all over with some corn flour. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the cutlets. Serve with tomato sauce.
