  • 1 null egg
  • 1 tablespoons water
  • 12 sheets wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup toasted chopped almonds
  • 5 chunks Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate Nuggets, chopped
  • 1 whole cooked and shredded chicken breast
  • null salt
  • null pepper
  • null vegetable oil

Instructions

Step 1

Beat together the egg and water in a small bowl to create an egg wash.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped almonds (reserving 1 tablespoon for sprinkling later), chopped Xocai Healthy Dark Chocolate Nuggets, cooked and shredded chicken breast, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the wonton filling.

Place a small scoop of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Lightly brush the edges of the wrapper with the egg wash. Bring the sides of the wrapper together and pinch at the top to seal, forming the wontons.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep skillet until it is hot. Carefully drop the assembled wontons into the hot oil and turn them to brown all sides.

Remove the fried wontons from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Sprinkle with the reserved chopped almonds before serving.
