- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 4 leaves sage
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 shot glass brandy
Instructions
Step 1
Wash and dry the chicken drumsticks.
Step 2
Make a deep incision lengthwise in each chicken drumstick, positioning the knife between the meat and the bone and cutting until the blade emerges from the opposite side. This allows the seasoning to flavor the meat thoroughly from the inside.
Step 3
Cut the orange and lemon into wedges. Arrange the chicken drumsticks neatly in a pan. Squeeze the citrus wedges over the meat, then leave the squeezed wedges in the pan on top of the drumsticks. Add the rosemary, sage, and a pinch of salt.
Step 4
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes. Halfway through cooking, flip the drumsticks. At the end, cook for another 5 minutes using the grill function.
Step 5
Once cooked, transfer the chicken drumsticks to a serving plate. With the heat still on, pour the brandy into the same cooking pan to deglaze it, stir quickly, and then turn off the heat. Strain the sauce and pour it over the chicken, then serve.
