- 0.5 cup sugar
- 0.25 cup canola oil(optional)
- 1 large egg
- 0.25 cup milk
- 2 pieces bananas, smashed
- 2 tablespoons heaping creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0.25 teaspoon baking soda
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with baking spray with flour. Set aside.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients (sugar, canola oil, egg, milk, smashed bananas, and heaping creamy peanut butter). Add in the dry ingredients (all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt), whisk until well blended.
Step 3
Take half of the semi-sweet chocolate chips and mix them into the batter. Decorate the remaining half on top of the batter.
Step 4
Bake for 30 minutes or until a bamboo stick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 5
Cool on a wire rack and store in an air-tight container.
