  • 8 ounce sharp white cheddar, shredded
  • 8 ounce Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 5 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 cup diced marinated roasted red peppers
  • 1/2 cup chopped toasted pecans
  • 1/4 cup minced chives
  • 12 slices multigrain bread, cut into 2-inch flower shapes
  • fresh chives(optional)

Step 1

In a food processor fitted with the blade attachment, pulse together the shredded sharp white cheddar, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, mayonnaise, and cayenne until the mixture is mostly smooth.

Fold in the diced marinated roasted red peppers, chopped toasted pecans, and minced chives until well combined. Spread a small amount of the pimiento cheese mixture in the center of each bread flower.

Garnish with fresh chives, if desired.
