- 0.75 cup Butter, softened
- 2.0 tablespoon Sugar
- 1.66666666667 cup Flour (sifted)
- 3.0 Eggs, separated
- 2.25 cup Light brown sugar
- 1.0 cup Walnuts, chopped
- 0.75 cup Flaked coconut
- 0.0 Confectioners' sugar(optional)

Cream butter. Add granulated sugar and beat until light. Add flour and mix well. Press the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Beat egg whites until fluffy.

Beat egg yolks, then gradually beat in brown sugar, walnuts, and coconut.

25-30 minutes
Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the egg yolk mixture. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the cooled, partially baked cookie layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
