- 1 pack Pita bread
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons dried Oregano
- 1 tablespoons Paprika
- 1 cup prepared Hummus
- 1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Cut pita bread lengthwise, splitting it into two layers.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix Parmesan cheese, dried oregano, and paprika.
Step 3
Spread the cheese mixture evenly on the pita bread.
Step 4
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 5
Place the pita bread on an oven rack and bake for 10 minutes, adjusting time as needed until crisp.
Step 6
Remove from oven and allow to cool until warm.

Break the pita chips into pieces.

For the Sun Dried Tomato Hummus: In a food processor, mix sun-dried tomatoes and prepared hummus. Grind while adding olive oil (or oil from the sun-dried tomatoes jar) until it turns into a fine consistency.

Serve the baked pita chips with the Sun Dried Tomato Hummus.
