Spotted some White Bunashimeji Mushrooms at the supermarket and thought they might go well with my Stir-fry Pork with Japanese Takana, and indeed they were another perfect marriage!

  • 500 grams Lean Pork
  • 50 grams Takana
  • 100 grams White Bunashimeji Mushrooms
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
  • 1 item sliced Chilli(optional)
  • 1 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tablespoons Kikkoman Shoyu (soya sauce)
  • 2 teaspoons Minced Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cornflour
  • 2 teaspoons Sesame Oil
  • Pepper(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Remove stem from mushrooms. Rinse and separate them.

Slice pork, rinse and marinate for at least an hour. Heat oil and sauteed garlic till fragrant. Add pork and stir-fry on medium heat till ¾ cooked.

Add mushrooms and takana, and mix well. Do not cook the pork slices for too long or they'll become tough.

Serve the Delicious Stir-fry Pork with Japanese Takana (豚高菜炒め) hot with rice or porridge!
