  • 2.25 cups bread flour
  • 1.25 cups oatmeal
  • 1.25 teaspoons salt
  • 7/6 cups water
  • 3.5 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 5.0 tablespoons honey

In a mixing bowl, combine the water, yeast, and honey. Let stand until the yeast is foamy and activated.

In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the bread flour, oatmeal, and salt.

Pour the activated yeast mixture and vegetable oil into the dry ingredients. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 8-10 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
