  • 1 cup Beer
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried rosemary
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 whole garlic cloves
  • 10 pounds Fresh ham

Instructions

Step 1

Trim excess fat from the fresh ham.

In a small bowl, mix olive oil with ground thyme and dried rosemary.

Rub the herb and oil mixture all over the ham, ensuring it's evenly coated.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

30-35 minutes per pound

Place the ham in a roasting pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes per pound of meat, until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part registers 185 degrees F (85 degrees C).

During baking, baste the ham occasionally with beer.
