- 3 bunches asparagus
- few flowerets of broccoli
- 1 quart cream or milk(optional)
- 1 butter
- 1 tablespoon cut onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 tablespoon flour
- salt(optional)
- pepper(optional)
- 1 quart water
Instructions

Step 1
until tender
Boil the asparagus and broccoli in 1 quart salt water until tender.

Drain the water from the boiled asparagus and broccoli.

Add cream (or milk) to the asparagus and broccoli in the pot.

While still on the stove, add butter, cut onion, garlic, and flour to the pot and mix them together with the asparagus, broccoli, and cream until combined.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve the soup hot, garnished with a drizzle of cream.
