- 450 grams flour 00 Molino Spadoni
- 200 milliliters milk
- 125 grams cold butter
- 45 grams sugar cane
- 2 eggs eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder for cakes

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 230°C.

Mix together the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar.

Cut the butter into cubes and mix with the dry ingredients using your fingertips until a crumbled mixture is obtained.

Beat 1 egg with milk.

Mix the dry ingredients and liquid to obtain a dough.

Invert the dough onto a floured surface and roll it out to a thickness of about 2.5 cm.

Use a cutter to create the scone shapes (e.g., heart shape).

Place the shaped scones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the scones with beaten egg and sprinkle with ground almonds and sugar cane.

Bake in the oven, on a middle rack, for about 10 minutes or until golden.

Let cool on a wire rack, then cut in half and fill with your favorite jam and a spoonful of mascarpone.
