Ingredients

  • dash freshly grated black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves, finely chopped
  • 1-2 serrano chiles, stems and seeds removed, minced
  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/2 red onion, minced

Instructions

Step 1

Cut avocados in half. Remove seeds and scoop the avocado flesh from the peel into a mixing bowl.

Step 2

Using a fork, mash the avocado until mostly smooth. Add the minced red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, freshly grated black pepper, and minced serrano chiles. Mash until all ingredients are well combined.
