  • 2 cup Canned tomatoes with juice
  • 3 medium Onions, sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup Corn
  • 3 Potatoes, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 7 cup Boiling water
  • 2 1/2 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Freshly-ground black pepper
  • Flour
  • 1 Pheasant, cut into pieces

Instructions

Step 1

Roll the pheasant pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.

Brown the floured pheasant pieces in butter.

1 1/2 to 2 hours

Add the browned pheasant and all other ingredients (with the exception of the tomatoes) to the boiling water, cover, and simmer.

1 hour

Add the tomatoes and continue to simmer.
