Ingredients
- 1 pounds meat of your choosing (chopped beef, meatballs, sausage, meatloaf mix, pork chops, boneless pork, or veal all work well)
- 2 tablespoons oil(optional)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 7 cups pureed plum tomatoes
- 1 tablespoons tomato paste(optional)
- 1.5 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1.5 tablespoons dried basil
- 1.5 tablespoons dried onions
- 0.5 teaspoons dried crushed red pepper(optional)
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoons black pepper
Instructions

Step 1
Brown meat in bottom of pan, then add in garlic. If you are making a meatless sauce, slightly saute the garlic in the oil.

Add all the remaining ingredients, and simmer uncovered for hours. If the sauce thickens too much, add a little water to thin out.

Periodically taste-test; add salt as needed.

Serve over your favorite cooked pasta or use as an ingredient in your favorite Italian dish.
