  • 1/2 cup diced green chilies
  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • dash pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt(optional)
  • 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese
  • 5 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 8 slices white bread, crusts trimmed off

Cube the white bread and place the cubes evenly into a 9 x 13 inch glass baking dish.

In a separate mixing bowl, combine milk, eggs, Cheddar cheese, dry mustard, pepper, and the optional salt. Stir in the chopped ham and diced green chilies.

Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes in the baking dish, ensuring all the bread is moistened.
