  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1.0 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 0.5 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1.0 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 1.0 cup confectioner's sugar, divided
  • 1.0 cup butter, softened
  • 1.5 cup flour, sifted

Step 1

Combine flour, butter, and 3/4 cup of the confectioner's sugar. Blend with a mixer. Add the vanilla extract, almond extract, salt, and pecans and continue mixing until a dough forms.

Step 2

20 minutes

Shape the dough into one-inch balls and place them on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until lightly brown.

Step 3

When cool, roll in the remaining 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar.
