- 1 cup Prune butter
- 3 Egg yolks
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 tablespoon Sour cream
- 3 tablespoon Sugar
- 2 cup Flour
- Powdered sugar(optional)
Instructions
Step 1
Cream butter, sour cream, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Add egg yolks, then flour. Knead with hands until well blended, adding a little more flour if needed to reach a good consistency.
Step 2
Divide the dough into 6-8 sections. Pat each section into a flat piece, then chill.
Step 3
Roll out each chilled section between waxed paper, like a pie crust.
Step 4
Cut each rolled-out section with a sharp knife into 8 triangles.
Step 5
Drop 1/2 teaspoon of prune butter onto each triangle. Roll up each triangle starting at the wide end.

Place the rolled kiffles onto a greased cookie sheet.
Step 7
Bake at 375 degrees F until light brown.
Step 8
If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
