Ingredients

  • 4.0 pounds rump roast
  • 2.0 packages Lipton Beefy onion recipe soup
  • 12.0 potatoes new red potatoes, small or 5 large cut in quarters
  • 8.0 ounces baby carrots
  • 4.0 onions onions, cut in big wedges
  • 1.0 cup red wine
  • 2.5 teaspoons paprika
  • 1.0 tablespoon oregano
  • salt(optional)
  • olive oil(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Remove roast from package and rinse under cold water. Place it in the center of a roasting pan.

Wash red potatoes and add them around the roast, then add carrots and onions.

Use half a package of the beefy onion soup and 1 teaspoon of paprika, and rub well on the roast.

Add the remaining half package of beefy onion soup all around the vegetables.

Then add the rest of the dry ingredients and stir lightly, then add the wine.

Drizzle olive oil all around the vegetables.

1.5 hours cooking, 15 minutes resting

Place in the oven and cook for about 1.5 hours or until the desired temperature. When the roast is done, let it sit for about 15 minutes before cutting.
