  • 4 large potatoes
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • null null chopped white onion
  • 1 clove fresh garlic
  • 1 null egg yolk
  • null null Salt
  • null null pepper
  • null null paprika
  • null null tchubritza (summer savory)
  • 3 cups plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup Heinz Tomato Ketchup
  • 1/2 can diced tomatoes(optional)

Instructions

Step 1

Peel, rinse, and cube the potatoes into the baking dish.

In a medium pot, add oil and ground meat.

As the meat browns, mix in onion and garlic.

Add salt, black pepper, paprika, and tchubritza to taste.

Once meat is thoroughly browned, add ketchup and tomatoes. Simmer for approximately 3 minutes.

Pour the meat sauce mixture over the potatoes and mix.

Place the baking dish in the middle rack of a pre-heated oven.

Bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally if the top gets too dark.
