- 4.5 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 sachet dry yeast
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs eggs
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar(optional)
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Step 1
Sift the flour, mix it with the salt and sugar, and make a well in the center. Cream the yeast with the lukewarm milk and pour it into the well. Let it rest for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the eggs, 1/2 cup softened butter, and lukewarm buttermilk to the mixture.
Step 3
Mix well for a few minutes, adding a little flour or milk if needed, until a dough forms.
Step 4
Place the dough in a greased bowl and let it rise until it doubles in volume.
Step 5
Divide the dough into 2 balls and roll each out using a rolling pin.
Step 6
Brush the rolled-out dough with melted butter and cut it into 12 triangles.
Step 7
Roll each triangle up, starting from the wide side. Place them on baking trays and let them rise again.
Step 8
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-17 minutes.
