- 6 ounce Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Brown sugar, packed firm
- 1 cup Unsalted butter
- 4-6 pieces Unsalted Matzo crackers
Instructions
Step 1
Line a cookie sheet with foil, then cover with baking parchment or waxed paper. Arrange matzo crackers evenly on the pan, cutting pieces to fit spaces as needed.

In a heavy saucepan, combine butter and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

Pour the sugar mixture evenly over the matzo. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit, checking every few minutes to ensure the mixture does not burn.

Remove the pan from the oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the hot matzo. Let stand for 5 minutes, then smear the melted chocolate evenly across the surface.

Chill in the refrigerator until completely set. Once set, break into small pieces.
