  • 0.25 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup Sparkling apple juice
  • 1 cup Ruby red grapefruit juice
  • 1 Pink grapefruit, inside section
  • 1 Grated rind of pink grapefruit

Instructions

Step 1

Grate the rind from one pink grapefruit and set aside.

<a href="/technique/RSDQ7YW8/peeling">Peel</a> and section the grapefruit meat, removing white membrane.

Place grapefruit meat in a food process and process until finely <a href="/technique/6L7QNTJV/chopping">chopped</a>.

Add the grapefruit <a href="/technique/QDWRNXYW/juicing">juice</a> and grated rind and process until smooth.

Pour mixture into a 2 qt. hand-turned or electric freezer.

Add the apple juice and sugar.

Stir well and freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
